Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect what the product needs to work and nothing else. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising, and we do not share your sessions with anyone you have not explicitly sent a stake link to.

What we collect

• Account: email address and an authentication identifier. No name, no phone number, no date of birth.
• Your content: task titles, plans, step lists, reflections, mood selections and stake messages you write.
• Session data: start and end times, duration, completion, self-reported interruptions, and the resulting focus score.
• Usage-access data (Android): app names and daily screen time for the apps you add to your watchlist. This is read on your device to build the list and show your own totals back to you.
• Diagnostics: crash reports and anonymous performance metrics.

Usage access, specifically

Android usage-access permission is powerful, so it is worth being exact. We use it to show you your own screen-time totals and to order your watchlist by time spent.

What we never collect

• Screen contents, screenshots, keystrokes or clipboard data.
• Location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
• Browsing history or the content of anything you are working on.

Why we process it

To operate the account, produce your score and insights, deliver the notifications you asked for, resolve stake links you chose to share, process payment through Google Play, and fix crashes. That is the complete list of purposes.

Who it is shared with

Only the processors needed to run the service: Google Play for billing, our hosting and database provider, our crash-reporting provider, and our transactional email provider. Each is contractually limited to processing on our instructions.

The AI planner sends the goal text you type to a model provider to break it into sessions. It is not used to train their models. If you would rather not send that text at all, you can write your own plan and the request is never made.

How long it is kept

Session history is kept while your account is open, because the product is worthless without it. Delete your account and everything is removed within 30 days. Crash logs are kept 90 days. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can export everything, correct anything, or delete your account outright from within the app or from the deletion page on this site. If you are in the UK, EU or another region with equivalent law, you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

The app is not for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and if we learn we have, we delete it.

Changes to this policy

Material changes come with 30 days notice by email and a version bump above. We will describe what changed in plain language rather than telling you to re-read the whole document.
